Schock Bauteile GmbH, world leader in the development and manufacture of building components for thermal insulation, impact sound insulation and reinforcement technology, has released its 2022 Sustainability (ESG) Report detailing the performance and management of the company’s progress in achieving its Environmental, Social and Governance goals. Since its founding more than 60 years ago as a family business, the company has prioritized safeguarding of the environment by making buildings more energy efficient, so sustainability is in Schöck’s DNA—and at the forefront of wide-ranging initiatives to stay ahead of the curve.
Dr. Harald Braasch, Chief Technical Officer of Schöck AG, says, "Germany aims to stop emitting greenhouse gases by 2050. In the first step, emissions must be reduced by around 60% by 2030.
