Compliance guidelines at Schöck. Binding rules for the conduct of business activities Stable business development and cooperation for the benefit of all can only exist if all employees bindingly adhere to common guidelines. Only on this basis is fair competition and legal certainty possible. These regulations include compliance with competition law, the avoidance of corruption and conflicts of interest, and a ban on discrimination. Breaches of these compliance guidelines are not tolerated at Schöck. Such behaviour could lead to unfair competition, loss of reputation and undermine the trust of customers and suppliers and the integrity of the company. References to the legal requirements and supplementary Schöck rules are set out in the Schöck Compliance Guideline. Executive Board members, management and employees are obliged to observe the regulations of this Compliance Guideline. The board members and managers of the relevant divisions receive regular training on compliance rules and ensure that these are also made known to and followed by all employees. The Schöck Compliance Guideline is available on the Internet and can be viewed by any interested internal or external stakeholder group. In addition, the Compliance Guidelines is handed out to all new employees when they sign their employment contract. The point of contact for all issues related to compliance with the principles is the respective manager, the Executive Board and the Compliance Officer. All Schöck employees are responsible for implementing the guidelines. According to the Corruption Perceptions Index of the non-governmental organisation Transparency International, the majority of Schöck's business locations are in countries where the risk of corruption is considered to be low to very low. In individual cases, the risk of corruption is classified as "medium" (Italy, Poland, Hungary, Croatia).
