Small delivery – lower cost Sometimes small delivery quantities have to be sent to a customer or to a construction site. In the past, these small shipping quantities led to high packaging costs in relative terms. Now there is a much more resource-saving alternative: For small order quantities of the Isokorb® of up to eight per pallet, the previously wooden construction for load securing which used large amounts of material is replaced by a simple plastic strap made of recyclable PET (polyethylene terephthalate). This measure alone will save 49.9 tonnes of wood per year in the future. At the same time, Schöck thereby solves a waste problem for customers, who no longer have to worry about disposing of large quantities of wood. In addition, occupational safety is improved when making the final preparations for transit: Employees no longer have to create wooden structures with nails and compressed air guns.
