Climate protection. The ultimate benchmark. External energy monitoring creates transparency As an environmentally conscious company, Schöck has already been certified in accordance with the environmental and energy management standards for almost ten years. To record greenhouse gas emissions, Schöck has introduced regular energy monitoring, which is carried out by the external service provider IREES (Institute for Resource Efficiency and Energy Strategies). This service provider has a strong reputation and carries out the monitoring at the German plants in Baden-Baden, Halle and Essen. The emissions caused are classified according to the internationally recognised specifications of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol). The most important emission sources are shown in the table opposite.
