Proximity creates trust. High value-added depth and regional sourcing Competence, quality awareness and a high level of added value are intertwined at Schöck in order to maintain maximum control over the manufacturing process. Schöck underlines this claim with its plants in Baden-Baden and Halle, where core components of the products are manufactured with a focus on steel, concrete and plastic. When procuring pre-materials and single components, Schöck relies on regional suppliers at the respective locations, which creates the best possible legal certainty - for example with regard to the protection of human rights. We have built a long-standing relationship with the majority of our suppliers based on trust. The regional proximity of the suppliers also has the advantage that transport routes are shortened and thus negative climate effects are reduced. The components that Schöck produces itself are continuously optimised with regard to resource-saving processes. Furthermore, Schöck does not use any substances in any of its products that are considered to be of concern under the REACH Regulation.
