Dialogue and co-determination at Schöck. Employee survey, appraisal interviews and key figures Satisfied employees not only enjoy coming to work, they also perform better. In order to obtain a broad picture of the job satisfaction and to identify potentials for improvement at an early stage, Schöck regularly conducts employee surveys and publishes the results for the entire workforce. Colleagues are asked about topics such as areas of responsibility, further training, personal responsibility, leadership, finances or satisfaction with work processes and work-life balance. The basic concept of the survey remains essentially the same in order to enable comparability over several years at several locations. In personal appraisal interviews, all employees are also regularly given the chance to talk about job satisfaction and to define individual goals. In these interviews, employees and managers discuss development potentials, the status of the duties and further development in their area of responsibility. Target-oriented qualification requirements are also derived from this. Additional key figures and parameters are used in order to determine whether Schöck really is an attractive employer. These include, among other things, the tracking of ratings on external career portals, the fluctuation rate or the evaluation of appraisal interviews as well as final interviews with employees who leave the company. 77 Schöck Sustainability Report 2022
