Schöck Isokorb® CXT Type CA thermal breaks offer a sustainable and more thermally efficient alternative to wrapped parapets.

These load-bearing thermal insulation modules connect vertical concrete projections, such as parapets, to a horizontal concrete slab, thermally isolating the parapet from the main structure, while maintaining the structural strength and integrity of the connection. They transfer moment and shear forces from the parapet to the concrete roof structure.

Isokorb® CXT Type CA modules feature height-adjustable GFRP bars that are corrosion resistant and less thermally conductive than steel, maximizing thermal efficiency and preventing thermal bridging.
