Thinner components with higher load-bearing capacity - the Schöck Stacon® type SLD heavy-duty dowel meets this complex requirement.
The heavy-duty dowel is more compact and enables the installation of higher loads on thinner ceilings and walls. In addition, less on-site reinforcement is required.
Years of research form the basis for the optimisation of the shear force dowel Stacon® type SLD. In an extensive series of tests, heavy-duty dowels were tested and optimised according to the latest state of the art for longitudinal and transverse displacement, the load-bearing capacity of concrete and steel, and their fire behaviour.
The result is the shear force dowel Schöck Stacon® type SLD with United Kingdom Technical Assessment (UKTA) with fire protection classification R 120.
read moreSchöck Stacon® type SLD has smaller dimensions. This enables the use of higher load-bearing levels in thinner components. In addition, less reinforcement is required on site.
Shear force dowels and thermal insulation elements can be easily designed with the web-based software Schöck Scalix®. The required on-site reinforcement is automatically optimised.
Proven fire protection
The fire protection classification R 120 is regulated in the United Kingdom Technical Assessment (UKTA).
Approved safety
After years of research, Schöck Stacon® has received United Kingdom Technical Assessment (UKTA). The dowel was tested according to the latest state of the art.
