Higher load-bearing capacities in thinner components - Schöck Stacon® type SLD meets this complex requirement.
With more compact measurements of the heavy-duty dowel, higher load-bearing levels can be installed in thinner ceilings and walls. In addition, less on-site reinforcement is required.
The basis for this product optimisation is years of research. In extensive series of tests, the heavy-duty dowel was tested and optimised for longitudinal and transverse displacement, concrete and steel load-bearing capacity as well as its fire behaviour according to the latest state of the art.
The result is Schöck Stacon® type SLD with United Kingdom Technical Assessment (UKTA), which regulates its fire protection classification R 120.
You can gain an insight into the development of the heavy-duty dowel in the video below.
Schöck Stacon® type SLD has smaller dimensions. This enables the use of higher load-bearing levels in thinner components. In addition, less reinforcement is required on site.
With the web-based software Schöck Scalix®, shear force dowels and thermal insulation elements can be designed easily. The required on-site reinforcement is automatically optimised.
The fire protection classification R 120 is regulated in the United Kingdom Technical Approval (UKTA).
After years of research, Schöck Stacon® has received United Kingdom Technical Approval (UKTA). The dowel was tested according to the latest state of the art.
In the first web application in the market segment for shear force dowels , these products can be easily calculated. The modular software runs on all common browsers and is always up to date. The calculations can be saved and loaded locally as a file.
