Schöck Tronsole® type P was voted Product of the Year 2022 in the Construction category in the readers' poll of the magazine Baugewerbe.
Schöck products also received three more awards: Gold was given to Schöck Isokorb®, the load-bearing thermal insulation element, and silver went to Tronsole® in the “Noise Protection” category. Silver also went to Sconnex® for the thermal separation of walls and columns.
For the second time, Schöck Bauelemente GmbH has won the "Top 100" seal of approval.

According to the largest nationwide industry survey, respondents gave the gold to Schöck Tronsole® for its use in stairs.

Certificates
Schöck promotes holistic environmental protection. Under the company’s environmental strategy, emissions, waste, and waste water are reduced, and employees are specifically encouraged to practice environmentally conscious behavior. Environmental aspects are already incorporated in the product development phase through the conscious use of materials, consumables and production processes. Environmental sustainability encompasses the entire product life cycle all the way through to the final application of products. Schöck’s environmental management is certified in accordance with ISO 14001.
The company’s European ISO 9001 certification confirms the high quality of Schöck’s products and services. The complete, company-wide structure and process organization was documented and checked in order to achieve high-quality products, processes and services. All processes should be reproducible, traceable and measurable. The primary goal of verifying all the processes internally and externally was to significantly increase the satisfaction of customers, partners and employees.
The ISO 50001 standard aims to continuously improve the energy-related performance of companies and organizations, to optimize their energy efficiency and energy use, and to reduce costs. Schöck has developed a company-wide environmental strategy under which the company commits itself to responsible energy management and the energy-efficient use of operational systems. An energy management system was implemented and certified in accordance with DIN ISO 50001.
Schöck makes targeted investments in occupational health and safety. Avoiding workplace injuries and illnesses is accorded top priority. The implemented occupational health and safety management system (AMS) serves to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses and to generally protect the health of employees in the workplace. Various guidelines and standards contain specifications and have been certified in accordance with BS OHSAS 18001.
The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building, and Nuclear Safety (BMUB), the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), and the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) honor companies in the German economy that play a pioneering role in agreeing to protect the environment and adopt energy efficiency guidelines in their operations. After the completion of an intensive scientific review and the positive recommendation of the advisory board, Schöck can now officially call itself a "company committed to climate protection."
A building’s sustainability can be assessed by calculating the environmental performance for each component. These environmental product declarations (EPDs) provide the data groundwork for an environmental building assessment. The EPD contains data about the environmental performance of a building product, from manufacturing to disposal. Schöck makes various EPDs available to planners, architects and builders. They are issued by the Institut Bauen und Umwelt e. V. (IBU).
