Thermal bridges on balconies and cantilevered parts of a building are often the cause of increased heat loss, damp walls and mold formation. As part of the thermal insulation, Schöck Isokorb® thermally separates elements such as balconies, parapets or canopy roofs, interrupting the flow of heat to the outside and maintaining the warmth inside the building.

 As the inventor of the structural thermal break, Schöck has been successfully implementing this solution worldwide for decades. The assembly of the structural elements has been optimised to allow the maximum amount of high-performance insulation at the connection, while ensuring proper transfer of all loads over the lifetime of the building.
